Deleting Your Account

1. How to delete your account

You can delete your account from inside the ABHER app:

• Open the ABHER app and sign in
• Go to Profile
• Tap Delete Account
• Type DELETE to confirm

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, you will be asked to re-authenticate with Apple to confirm the deletion.

2. What gets deleted

• Your listings are removed within 24 hours
• Your profile and personal account data are anonymized immediately, and your sign-in is permanently disabled
• Residual records are fully purged within 90 days
• Your messages are anonymized

3. What may be retained

Some records may be kept where required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and marketplace integrity. Specifically:

• Messages may be retained in anonymized form for safety purposes
• Operator trade-license documents may be retained longer where required for verification records and legal compliance
• Some information may be retained longer if required by UAE law

4. Deactivate instead of delete

If you only want to take a break, you can deactivate your account instead of deleting it. Deactivating hides your profile and listings and is fully reversible — you can reactivate anytime by signing back in. You can deactivate from Profile → Deactivate Account.

5. If you cannot access the app

If you are unable to sign in to delete your account yourself, email us at support@abher.ae from the email address on your account and we will help you complete the deletion. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
